Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya waits on the balcony of her estate on the appointed day you are to arrive. You can see her from far off, her dark clothing contrasting the light walls behind her and as she comes more fully into vision, the tattoos marking her as a Child of Atom. That scoped Gauss rifle is slung over her shoulder and she holds up one hand to shield her eyes from the light as you approach.
Conway Conway jabs the heels of his boots into the sides of his horse, "Kiyuh!" He's trying to make it a bit early to the worksite. In tow behind the horse is a wooden utility trailer supported by bald rubber tires filled with dirt. Ropes hooked up to the trailer straddle the back of the horse so it can be pulled. Inside the utility trailer is large beams of steel, ziplock bags filled with nuts and bolts, and a large variety of cordless power tools.

Since it's later in the day, Conway has his six-shooter inside a gun belt draped around his waist. As he rides closer onto the property, he notices Zealot on the balcony. He takes his hat off and replaces it back on his head as a sign of acknolwedgment and greeting.
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya comes down quickly to unbar and open the massive gate to the property. It was probably once automatic but there is no electricity here. The gate squeals in derision as it opens. She waves. "You return. Atom be praised." Whether she is glad you are alive or didnt stiff her or both, it appears she is glad you have come.
Conway Conway kicks his horse a bit more gentle as a signal for it to pass through the gates. He watches Zealot stand to the side after she's opened it, nodding his head. "Glory to Atom, I don't skip on work." He smiles slyly before letting his horse trot inside. After he's inside he dismounts the horse, not worried about hitching it since the trailer will just jackknife and block its path.

He motions his head to the left, waving her over. "We've got some high quality carbon steel rods, I-beams, and H-beams." He untarps the steel, showing all of it in its glory. Damn, what a find. "Everything we have will do the job." He also removes another black tarp, showing a large drum on gasoline laying on its side.
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya nods her head, "Glory to Atom," she replies in a flat voice as if by rote. Then the zealot sees what Conway has brought. Her eyes light up as he explains and shows her all the materials. "Glory to Atom!" This time she means it. She runs a rough hand down the length of one of the I-Beams. "Strong," she agrees. "I have faith that you will do this and are ordained to do it."
Conway Conway bops his head a few times, "Yes ma'am, I'm confident." He smiles, placing his hands on his hips. He's dressed for the job and wears a shirt with the sleeves cut off and a pair of dirty blue jeans supported by a tattered leather belt. He's ready for the heat and sweat. He fishes into the back pocket of his jeans, withdrawing a blue piece of paper - laminated? He holds it out to Zealot, it's another copy of the blueprint. "This is what we've agreed on constructing, yeah?"
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya says, "Very much so, but we are going to have to have some means of moving the base. The neighborhood is rather large. And also, the incendiary chamber is well and good but we are going to have to have a means of lighting up the tunnel itself as well, remember it needs to be like a sally port we can close from above to put a good fifteen feet from the house to where the fire starts. We can use straw and other flammables. Are you actually going to build an oven in that chamber?""
Conway Conway rubs his chin, "I was thinking that the chamber idea could be scrapped. We could use some of the gasoline I have in the drum here and light it ablaze when they pile inside. That way, it's completely mobile and not anchored to the ground." He rummages around in the back of the utility trailer again, letting the wood give him splinters through his shirt. He reaches under the steel to pull out some industrial caster wheels, holding one up. "It'll be pushed around on these bad boys."
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya nods. "Like the side with the wheels should be both sides and then we can use the entire walkway as the incineration chamber. That would be more effective. The chamber you first suggest might become clogged with their bodies. We will have to clean it out to keep going many times I expect even with the new design you suggest and I agree...better."
Conway Conway nods his head, removing his hat. "The incineration chamber wasn't a chamber for them to fall inside and then die, it was to put our explosives inside or flammable liquids and then combust'em." He grabs out his socket wrench and slides it in his front pocket, taking the steel beams off of the utility trailer. He starts throwing them into a single pile after holding them overhead. "We'll lay out the base, and then start up from there."
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya watches the man work. "Atom's Holy Fire abides in me....you should do well to gather these combustible materials but be assured, the fire will come. It is foretold."
Conway Conway laughs to himself at the way Zealot speaks in riddles, shaking his head. He spends alot of his time bent over, grabbing the I-beams underneath the top face. He plants them in a rectangle all across the large yard, removing his tape measure to check its length. "The steel I-beams are the foundation, and we'll screw the metal plates for the floor into them. Then, we'll build up." He's already hot, even with a sleeveless shirt. He takes off his shirt, tying it around his forehead to keep the sweat out of his eyes."

The veins in Conway's forearms bulge out every time he lifts one of the steel beams to reposition it. He takes a cordless industrial drill out of his trailer, aswell as a high-speed steel bit for drilling through steel. He threads it inside after pulling the trigger.
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya watches with interest. "You know some of those peices look rather large...do not be afraid to ask me to hold something. Passive observation is something I can do but I also have hands. YOu seem to know exactly what you are doing. Refreshing. I have met so many fools in this area it brings my gorge up."
Conway Conway takes advantage of Zealot's offer to help. "Hand me those bags of nuts and bolts and lock washers." He points over at the utility trailer while he walks back up to the steel beams laying on the ground. He takes a knee in the dirt beside the middle segement of the I-beam, ready to start drilling and mounting the floor plates. "I also need the floor plates out of the back. Don't strain yourself."
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya brings the bags over no problem. "Here they are." When she goes to get the floor plates it is clearly a strain on her but she bears it. Probably doesnt like to appear weak. It takes her a bit longer than it would you but it does give you time to move ahead.
Conway Conway raises his eyebrows, having a 'not bad' expression wash over his face. He takes one of the floor tiles off the stack, placing it underneath the long thick segment of steel. He starts to drill through the bottom of the floor plate and into the steel, which will allow a fitting for the flooring to be mounted. He does this end-to-end with the I-beams, completing the foundation.

"We've got the bottom. Now we'll ehm-.." He pauses for a moment, scratching the side of his head. "We'll do the caging now, bars with crossbars."
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya nods and as the hours wear on she gets more talented in holding things for you. She has no skill for construction but she can remember to do as she is told and this is so very important to her. She brings water skins after awhile so that the two of you can take a break, the heat of the sun beating down on the wasteland can be intense without much shelter. "We out to just throw a shelter together so the metal doesnt get hot while your working with it," she says raggedly before drinking deeply from the water skin.
Conway Conway squeezes his water skin, letting some splash over his face and open mouth. He breathes hard as his thirst is quenched, taking a concentrated sip from the bag. "Ah-.." He wipes his mouth, coughing once. He looks to Zealot after a few hours of construction and raising the side bars, listening to her idea. "I could always throw on some work gloves, I ain't too concerned with it." He looks at the progress of the work from a few steps back. He sets the water skin on the side of his trailer, folding his arms over his chest.

"I think it's coming together."
Zealot Shreya Zealot Shreya grins. "Glory to Atom." She drinks from her own skin before setting it down. She takes off her robes leaving her in what can only be rags to continue the work with you. "We make a good team you and I."
Conway Conway nods his head, "I agree. We're a dream team." He chuckles lightly, going back to work. He drills a half an inch into the I-beams laying on the ground, just wide enough to flushly fit more of the steel rods that will act as bars. He starts to hand tighten the bolts that thread into the bottom of the flooring, securing each board to the I-beam. "I'm curious." He's on his knees infront of his work, facing the direction of Zealot. "You seem very happy with your 'ehm.. faith." .. "Tell me about 'Atom'." He's curious.
