Iris Lark Iris has been trying to clean out the workroom, and there are a few things that are too big to move, like this jukebox. People are still visiting for healing though so they'll just have to listen to holiday music while they are tended. It won't kill them, and it might even provide a little cheer with the food shortages.
Alasa Alasa makes her way in, a little less hicup in her getalong...ok, shes still not walking all that fast. Things never kill her it seems, but they do tend to slow her down. "Oh thats some music....I feel cooler already...ok, not being surrounded by radiation is prolly helping as well.." she laughs to herself.
Iris Lark Iris grins at Alasa and points her towards the cot. "Have a set, let me take a look at you." She says, pulling out supplies from a cupboard. "So what got you this time?" She asks, grinning as she squints at the open wounds.
Alasa Alasa laughs, as she moves over to the cot. "Oh, you know me..little of this, little of that...mostly a little deathclaw know? Don't have trouble with most things, just those nasty deathclawsd."
Iris Lark "Deathclaw goodness woman, you run into the most interesting trouble." Iris notes, spreading salve on the wound after it's been cleaned. She pulls some bandages from her kit and lays it across Alasa's skin, before she tapes it down. "There you go, you need to take off whatever you're wearing that draws in deathclaws." She says with a wry grin.
Alasa Alasa nods, "yeah..I think it was cause I tend to travel alone..they see me as prey...but with my new friend Bob, I'm hoping they won't see me like that again." She stretches her arm a bit, "But someones gotta go out there..."
Iris Lark "Well hopefully they don't eat bob, and you should find a buddy." Iris says, grinning at Alasa as she shakes her head. "If you need a pal to walk the wastes with, I'm always at home being a boring homebody. We could team up sometimes, if you don't mind someone boring."
Alasa Alasa nods, "Well Bob can take care of himself...he seems big enough. I left him outside, not sure how welcome he'd be in here...he's got dirty feet afterall." She smiles, "Oh, always nice to have another set of eyes out there..someone thats not afraid of a little challlenge..."
Iris Lark "I'm a little afraid, but honestly, I can handle myself too when I need to." Iris says, grinning at Alasa. "Did you need anything else that I could help you with?"
Alasa Alasa shakes her head, "No, no...not at the moment...just the claw thing...what with the food shortages, was really feeling down because of it and everything....though I'm not as picky as many, so theres always something to eat."
Iris Lark "Well..I'm glad you're doing well, you're in the militia, aren't you?" Iris asks, taking a seat on the cot near Alasa. "That is one place where I imagine that they have lots of food stores available for you guys."
Alasa Alasa shakes her head, "Me?, no,..too many rules and such...I'm more of a do what you want type...I'm all for helping defend the town and all that, but I'd rather do it on my own terms..."
Iris Lark "Hmm, well I'm glad we have people like you out there along with the militia." Iris says, pushing her hair away from her face as she pushes to her feet and starts to clean up. "I'm going to go to Acme and try to get some inventory out on the shelf. You be safe out there."
Alasa Alasa nods, as she gets to her feet herself..."Do my best..but its the other things other there that I need to be safe from." As she moves for the door.
