War. War never changes.
When atomic fire consumed the earth, those who survived did so in great, underground vaults. When they opened, their inhabitants set out across ruins of the old world to build new societies, establish new villages, form new tribes.
As decades passed, some semblance of civilization began to return to the wastelands of America. New governments formed to replace the old, fighting each other for territory and control of the resources they possess.
In the American southwest it is the New California Republic, a government dedicated to old-world values of democracy and rule of law that has risen to prominence. They do not stand unopposed though, pushing against their very borders and fighting them for the scarce resources of the south-west are Caesar's Legion; a vast army of slaves forged in the conquest of 86 tribes.
It has been one year since the Battle of Hoover Dam between the NCR and the Legion and the effects are only now being felt nearly 800 miles away in the growing city of El Dorado, located in the former state of New Mexico. Formed seventy years ago by survivors from Vault 30 and a local tribe, El Dorado has grown from a small community into a burgeoning city.
You are The Vault Dweller. Wait. No! You're The Lone Wanderer? Maybe, The Courier, is that it? No, you're The Cowboy; a native of El Dorado, born and raised and this is your home. Well, maybe you're not The Cowboy. That's fine, we've still got room for you in our city, just don't cause any trouble, ya hear?

|| It seems as though the good deputy Jackson Parkes could use some help with the old garage he's been rennovating up in Parkes Point. He's called upon friends and helpful volunteers to help him fix up the place, and the first order of business is to clean the ghouls out of it. Jack has managed to seal the majority of the ghouls off inside of the building, but isn't sure just how many need killing. It's up to the group to come through for him.
OOC: I'd love you all if at least 3 people show up to this. There will be light combat, but it's mostly a sort of social encounter. Booze provided for all interested partiess/partyers.

| Feral Fighters
|| 2018-02-28 19:00:00
|| Around a month and a half back, Jackson led a scavenging party out to an old Repcon Aerospace facility that was absolutely full of material that they could salvage. The building was cleared of some of it's feral threats, but the Operations section of the facility remains unexplored. Jack has wrangled up a group of interested volunteers, and wants to head back up there and clear out that facility once and for all. That way, they can start sending real scavenging teams up to the facility to strip the place for parts.
| Before creation, Comes Destruction
|| 2018-03-01 01:00:00
|| With the old garage in Parkes Point having been cleared out by the previous group of volunteers, now comes the ever-glrorious job of absolutely tearing apart it's interior. There are ghoul corpses that need burned, rotten wood and drywall that need removed, rusted out wires that need to be removed and replaced-- If Jackson wants to have this place running any time soon, all of this work needs to get done. Unfortunately for him, it's not exactly a one man job. So, just as he did before, he called upon his friends and allies to see if they couldn't give him a hand with the busy work.
OOC: Same as the first event. If at least 3 people show up, I'll love you all. No combat in this event, just a social scene where we recklessly tear apart all of the old crap that's inside Jackson's garage. Once again, booze provided to interested parties.

| Junkyard Blues
|| 2018-03-02 19:00:00
|| The Roswell Scrapyard remains one of the most profitable and useful areas for scavenging in the New Mexico Wasteland. One of many frequent scavenging trips led into it's depths is headed by Jackson Parkes, who's in search of gunsmithing supplies for the local El Dorado weaponsmiths. However, this scavenging run in particular is destined for some of the deepest depths of the Scrapyard. 'Chrome Mountain' as it's taken to being called, is widely known as a hot-spot for feral ghoul activity, and Jack plans to kill two birds with one stone-- make the scrapyard safer for less experienced scavengers, find the parts the gunsmiths need, and lead the group back out in one piece afterward.
OOC: In addition to the standard rewards recieved for participation, all participants in this plot will recieve 1 gunsmith's tools!
| Out With the Old, In with the New
|| 2018-03-03 21:00:00
|| The ghouls have been killed, the building has been gutted. Now, all that's left to be done in the old garage at Parkes Point is the actual reconstruction. There's plenty to do. Wiring to be done, reinforcement to the structure, and most interestingly, Jack wants to try and get the old hydraulic lift back in order. Much as he did before, rather than try to do it all himself, he's asked for a little bit of help and elbow grease from his friends and companions back in El Dorado. He assures them that he'll definitely owe them one after all the work they've helped him out with over the last weeks.
OOC: The last in the scenes revolving around fixing Jack's garage. Alcohol provided as usual.
